- Login problems: If you have trouble logging into the Iberia website, type in your number and password by hand instead of using autocomplete. For some people this fixes login issues.
- Partner awards: Many flights on partners will not be available as one-way. You must redeem AA flights as a round trip for example
- Cancellations: Iberia awards on AA cannot be cancelled.

Not sure why you guys are complaining about this new email. Its actually encouraging to me. Yes the promotion is taking longer than it should have but why would they go thru all this effort if it isn't their intention to pay out some more avios going forward for verified accounts?

After 3 days with no answer from [email protected], I called Iberia Plus yet again to ask what was meant by inconsistencies". The agent was clearly completely uninformed, so I insisted on speaking to a supervisor. I had to be very insistent, but finally I got one on the line. He said that there is now a backlog of almost 20,000 emails they had to respond to. He also told me that the people at the call center had absolutely no ability to do anything, and that all decisions were made at the department where [email protected] emails are received. He refused to give me any contact information for anyone there, and said to wait for a response to my email, even though it might be a long time coming...

My “new account” followed the same process as others: no credit, request for passport (sent) and tickets (sent), no further communication. No response to any emails or twitter messages since
So, I took up the GDPR route (and will continue to do so regardless, as I want reassurance that my passport has been removed permanently and securely from their systems). I asked for copies of every single piece of data and communication held relating to me personally, and sent that to their official “data controller”.
That, and the clear breach of their own terms and conditions for the offer was also then detailed and sent to three senior email addresses this morning pointing out that I would take things further if no response within 2 working days.
This afternoon - all bonus points credited, with no communication whatsoever.
Let’s see what they say in writing by my deadline...

Very weird but I think they are more afraid of the GPRD than anything else, they really failed on this (not only on this...).
Could you please check if you can book international flights and partners flights from the site?
After lot of tries I can only book domestic Iberia flights with those miles...
Sounds that I will have to start again to harass them...

Their official data controller and the avios one do not answer, I give them till end of the week and I go next step. They desserve it.

I really wonder how people can fly and use their program, it's really a pain to deal with such people and their website is a total IT mess.
