- Login problems: If you have trouble logging into the Iberia website, type in your number and password by hand instead of using autocomplete. For some people this fixes login issues.
- Partner awards: Many flights on partners will not be available as one-way. You must redeem AA flights as a round trip for example
- Cancellations: Iberia awards on AA cannot be cancelled.

How does the Iberia pay for a hotel in points work. I MUST pay some cash when I use points, or can points cover my entire hotel booking with no OOP? I have zero points now, so I'm unable to see if I'm going to need to pay cash+points for the bookings.

Because of this kind of behaviour (not to mention the dog and cat get an avios account) they have to do police style manual stuffs.
Play the game based on T&C and stop to be greedy. Seriously...

So, for those of us locked out: even if you manage to reset your pin via app, if your account has been flagged you will not get your avios until you verify yourself. You will get error messages saying you cannot book with points and stuff like that.

No points for me yet. Old account and booked my tickets on 6/24 at around 3 pm CDT. I wonder if that was to late for them to get ticketed. The interview that TPG did with the Iberia communications team made it seem like the flights had to be ticketed by 11:59 pm Madrid time on 6/24.

So, for those of us locked out: even if you manage to reset your pin via app, if your account has been flagged you will not get your avios until you verify yourself. You will get error messages saying you cannot book with points and stuff like that.

Is anyone else getting the message:
"To be to use your Avios we ask that you contact your Iberia Plus Customer Service Centre: (+34) 91 374 24 42. We apologise for the inconvenience."
Is that a problem with the online reservations, or an account verification issue?

One additional data point on the locked accounts. When registering for my account, I was given an error saying my passport number was invalid. I submitted the form twice and got the same error. I have three citizenships so I tried again with my UK and Australian passports. The Australian one finally allowed me to register without receiving an error. However, it turns out all four accounts were registered and activated despite the error appearing on the site. I only found this out when I checked my junk mail and saw four emails there from Iberia. I only booked flights under one account, and respected all of the T&C's of the promotion (ie. definitely no fraud or trying to game the system). However it appears my account has been either flagged or deleted because of this, because I'm still unable to reset my account by any method. I included this explanation with the pdf form filed yesterday to unblock the account, and we'll see what happens. I'm still unable to access the account or reset it by any method. I wonder how many of these duplicate accounts were actually caused by their dodgy IT in the first place.
My girlfriend signed up after me. She got the same error about her passport number being incorrect. After my experience, we knew not to submit the form again, so she only has one account. Hers was locked yesterday, recovered through the app today, but no avios have posted yet.

For those who booked Via the App AVIOS are posting for those bookings as long as you were logged in at the time of purchase. Also it seems that App bookings automatically got ticketed in Spain even if you were booking from a non participating country but had your account address in a participating country.
