- Login problems: If you have trouble logging into the Iberia website, type in your number and password by hand instead of using autocomplete. For some people this fixes login issues.
- Partner awards: Many flights on partners will not be available as one-way. You must redeem AA flights as a round trip for example
- Cancellations: Iberia awards on AA cannot be cancelled.

My thoughts exactly. I'm totally fine with it. Already sent in the required info for my wife's new account. Glad I didn't need to do the same for my 5yr old account.

I was not a customer before and will not be after based on the poor IT experience, poor customer support, no answer on social media, etc.
I will take the miles (thanks for that) and burn them. Period
My opinion : they are missing a nice opportunity to shine and enrol new customers. (based on my experience of course)

I have a new account I set up for this promo. I was able to access the account early this morning but not able anymore. Hopefully this is just a glitch which will be corrected soon.

My worry with this validation, how long will it take to process? If my account takes 3 weeks to validate but lets say Bob's account takes 1 week....that means by the time my account is processed how's availability gonna look??? I submitted all my information in now before it blows up on the blog...but hopefully I can process quickly.

I called in and they told me just to send in a picture of my passport and no mention of a form.
Have a feeling it probably won’t work out for me because when I created my account initially I got an error with the passport field, so tried again without the last number of my passport number which worked. So made 10 bookings with that IB number and afterwards I realized I got a confirmation email of another account being created which I assumed is the one with my full passport number.
So I explained the situation in my email to them with my passport photo, so hopefully they’ll let it slide.

Really think we should all give Iberia some slack here and stop calling them.
All their communications (apart from stressed call center employees) appear to indicate they will honor the promo. No backtracking yet. They even stated they will honor the promo if booked via the app, even though the T&C's said you needed to book via the website.
90.000 miles is enough for a business class return flight to virtually anywhere, no wonder they don't want the same person opening 92031 accounts.
90.000 miles for EUR < 300 + sending a copy of your passport sounds like an extremely good deal to me.
Also, just imagine you had been collecting Iberia Avios for years and almost had enough to book a flight....

It may be a glitch, or unique to my account, but it looks like they have zeroed out availability on longhaul routes. Routes that had lots of availability a few hours ago, from now until the middle next year, are now showing nothing in any class.
