  • Login problems: If you have trouble logging into the Iberia website, type in your number and password by hand instead of using autocomplete. For some people this fixes login issues.
  • Partner awards: Many flights on partners will not be available as one-way. You must redeem AA flights as a round trip for example
  • Cancellations: Iberia awards on AA cannot be cancelled.
Iberia Plus offer 9000 per booking 21/JUN to 24/JUN on iberia.com
Terms and conditions of the offer are to be found here in post 14.

Just a note for those getting errors when trying to log in. What appears to be happening is that in certain circumstances the log in form is wiping your IB+ number from the field when you try and submit it. If you look closely, you can see it disappearing.

I can recreate this when using using a password manager (1Password) that tries to automatically log you in. If I manually enter the details, or use a password manager to only populate the fields and not automatically submit them, I can log in fine. This isn’t a new problem, I can remember it for as long as I’ve had my account (several years). Iberia just have incompetent web developers.

I suggest manually typing your log in details and clicking away from the form field before submitting to make sure it doesn’t wipe anything unexpectedly. Then clicking the button.

Unfortunately, trying the technique you suggested did nothing to change the results for my account or for my friends account. Still got the same error message so many are describing here ĖĖ that an error occurred. I was able to sign in quite easily several hours ago,

The form data in the request clearly contains both username and pin fields.

No, the accounts are blocked.
I've tried it on three devices, from two ISPs.
It's not a technological problem.
They're intentionally disabled logins for certain accounts.
For what reason, we can only speculate.

Got the same feeling.
But I'm confident it's good news.

Perhaps.
But they noted on Twitter that they are reviewing each account individually.
And folks with existing accounts are not reporting an issue.
Not sure I'd take that as great news, but am also not one for panic.
This was always going to be speculative.

I've had my account for at least a year, bought a few tickets (not 10) and can login FYI.

So no problem with older account but new account is blocked?
Right - so they're targeting the new ones.
This should end well.

That seems to be the case based on the data points in this thread so far.

Have there been any reports of anyone actually having the Avios post to their accounts yet (for those who can actually log in to their accounts)?

No, from the accounts posted on this and other threads that doesn't appear to be happening...

Just vague claims probably people trolling and bloggers looking for clicks. Its not like this is some big secret so why no photographic evidence?

I can confirm as well that my new and my daughter's new Iberia Plus account are both login-inaccessible. I was able to log in last night and early this morning (7 am) US ET.
