- Login problems: If you have trouble logging into the Iberia website, type in your number and password by hand instead of using autocomplete. For some people this fixes login issues.
- Partner awards: Many flights on partners will not be available as one-way. You must redeem AA flights as a round trip for example
- Cancellations: Iberia awards on AA cannot be cancelled.

I have an IB account created in 2015. Each time I went there (may be 3 times a year just to check the IB bookings using partner programs) the website would bring me to Registration page and told me to complete my registration - and it would not go to 2nd screen when pressed Continue.
Good luck to those who wanted to buy the Avios on the cheap. Personally I would rather pay AA a 10% more miles and cash to book with AA miles than using IB Avios which I can transfer a ton from BA but the dealing with IB definitely is NOT worth the time and effort involved with that little saving.

I am wondering the same thing. It doesn't sound like cancelling without refund is against the terms. I also wonder what would happen in case of IRROPS or major schedule changes.

I had no problem with the IB.com US site yesterday.
I bought ten $27.77 SDR-MAD tickets while logged into my account (created in 2017) and 10 tix in my wife's account (created 2 minutes before I bought the 1st ticket).
All 20 tickets show our proper IB numbers.

Hmmm, I didn't do that. Iberia states:
'For example, if a customer purchases tickets on Iberia.com for three people to fly from Seville to Madrid and two of the people are identified as Iberia Plus members during the purchase process, 9,000 Avios will be credited to both of these people within 10 days of the purchase. These two people must have redeemed at least 9,000 Avios by 1 December 2018, or this same amount of Avios will be withdrawn from their account.'

Just called Iberia to have FF number added to the 10 reservations booked yesterday using the FF account created yesterday as well.
The agent was fully aware of the promotion. Very patient. I had to read off each of the 10 reservation numbers while he created an internal email to send to his supervisor to get the numbers entered. Sounds like he had spent his whole afternoon doing the same thing for other people.

I tried to do that on BA.com, but I selected Iberia Plus, and it tells me it can't find my Executive Number and can't add it to my booking. And then on Iberia, it tells me my first name and last names do not match.
I tweeted them to add, but doubt I'll get a response today.

I was even invited to this promo via an Iberia email which (as others have mentioned) simply states that you have to book on iberia.com. See also post #366

I have an upcoming trip to Spain and then onward to Athens with my family (we’re five total) and we needed three IB segments anyway and they weren’t exactly cheap so this would take the sting out of things if in fact gives us each 27k in IB plus points.
we may even wind up taking a couple of additional detours if we can find last-minute reward flights to redeem with these bonus points. Not to start counting my chickens before they hatch, but is there a good thread in this forum on the basics of redemptions?
