- Login problems: If you have trouble logging into the Iberia website, type in your number and password by hand instead of using autocomplete. For some people this fixes login issues.
- Partner awards: Many flights on partners will not be available as one-way. You must redeem AA flights as a round trip for example
- Cancellations: Iberia awards on AA cannot be cancelled.

I spoke with them and they indicated that the numbers are not activated immediately. They may show up on your confirmation email but if you look at the ticketing email, you will see that there is no number there.
The update will have to be done manually.
The agent asked me right away if I was booking for the 9,000-mile bonus, so they're fully aware of what's happening.

I spoke with them and they indicated that the numbers are not activated immediately. They may show up on your confirmation email but if you look at the ticketing email, you will see that there is no number there.

Has anyone created an Avios account and received a name error when attempting to book?
I log in, try and book, click the I Am Traveling button, and get a name mismatch error.
Calling was a complete waste of time. Transferred 3 times in 20 minutes, before a guy started yelling and hung up.

I suppose what this promo should also works for childs... I have 2 under 12 and they already have Iberia numbers
but is it possible to book reward flight from they account?
I looking for 4tickets to Lima and it can by tricky to book later use Avios from every account ...it’s headache situation

Took me a while to book the tickets, as I spent forever creating an IB plus account (and accidentally ended up with 3 of them). I was able to book 10 flights for $25 each after counting $3 cashback per ticket from Mr. Rebates. Hoping for the best now.

I imagine if they want to back out on this they'll just cancel all our tickets like they did with the match.com/eHarmony thing last year. I can't imagine it will end well for them if they don't refund and don't issue the Avios.
