- Login problems: If you have trouble logging into the Iberia website, type in your number and password by hand instead of using autocomplete. For some people this fixes login issues.
- Partner awards: Many flights on partners will not be available as one-way. You must redeem AA flights as a round trip for example
- Cancellations: Iberia awards on AA cannot be cancelled.

I don't understand the threats to do chargebacks either. You purchased flights, not avios. Also if you're not flying them, you basically have taken a seat from someone else who mightve actually wanted to fly for that fare and now has to pay more to see their families.

I called iberia to enquire about my account login issue. They said that many people are also hit by the same problem and to email [email protected] to request that the account be reactivated (not sure why is it "inactive/disabled").

The whole Iberia page is now down, geez. I got 3 tickets that I intent to fly and my account is locked. I can see them investigating the guy with the 80 tickets, but locking a new account with 3 tickets is just ridiculous.

You need to fill in a form and send a copy of your ID document if you have opened your account in the last ten days.
You need to request for a new PIN and when you key in your security answer and surname it will give you a link to download the form.

Here's a work around for the lock-out.
- If you have not already done so, download the Iberia app
- Use the option Have you forgotten your PIN from the app (from the app, not from the web)
- You will receive a new pin by email.
