- Login problems: If you have trouble logging into the Iberia website, type in your number and password by hand instead of using autocomplete. For some people this fixes login issues.
- Partner awards: Many flights on partners will not be available as one-way. You must redeem AA flights as a round trip for example
- Cancellations: Iberia awards on AA cannot be cancelled.

gotcha. Probably cause the acct is too recent then. There are people who called and got through and got them added and they have back to back flights. I'm sure they are aware people are doing this just for the miles and low intention of flying.

What about the T&C stating "Special offer of an extra 9,000 Avios for each ticket purchased between 21 and 24 June 2018 on iberia.com " ? Do you think you will earn the 9000 avios even if you book through the app ?

Nobody knows for certain, but app bookings and web bookings seem to look identical at Iberia's end.

Does anyone have a solution to the name problem? I've tried using various web browsers, re-checked my details in my IB+ account which is over a year old:
Please check your Iberia Plus number xxxxxxxx because it does not match the name and family name on the booking. If you are an On Business member, the name must the same as the one you have with Iberia Plus. Change it with On Business before booking your flight.

I just got off the phone with Iberia. They said even though when you go to "your booking details" and it doesn't have the Avios number associated, the guy on the phone said that he could see the number on his side and it should be fine. I hope he's right. What do others think?

I'm sitting this one out. Firstly, there seems to be too much potential for goal posts to be moved.
Secondly I'm not even sure whether I can actually use the promotional Avios (travel fully booked for this winter season, then working until mid-October next year). If they didn't have to be used by December, I would probably take a gamble.
All in all, too many variables for me. But good luck to everyone who has taken a punt - I hope it works out.

picked up 10 at £21.20 for myself and used TopCashBack for each purchase too so if they are all paid it knocks another £36.70 off the cost.
Been wondering whether to do it on my father's account too (which he never uses at all) but think I'll stick where I am.
Finding availability is going to be a ..... as so many more people than normal will be looking to redeem before Dec 1st.
