Could someone please tell me if Iberia offers spirits (gin and tonic for example) on their longhaul flights in Economy or Premium Economy?
No spirits. Wine and beer only for Econ and Prem Econ on long haul. |

14th Sep 2023 I know that you will banish me but I forgot to take photos. This was on Air Nostrum which I really like. After take-off one of the Azafatas came out with Water, and Orange Juice of an excellent quality. The choice in J was Jamon and Manchego which looked a bit sad, or a sort of wrap (she called it and omelette) with ham and cheese. It could have done with being a tad hotter but it was delicious and we both enjoyed it. A tray was offered wth Butter, Olive Oil, Pate, Strawberry Jam and I think margarine. Breads were proffered and a croissant which my husband had (he would) and he said that it was very good. Drinks were constantly offered by the lead Azafata who was a Darling. Both of them worked their socks off. As Croissant-4-Brains was driving I had Cava which was most pleasant. Does this make up for no photos? |

Here was the chicken topped with Jamón on my MAD-MEX flight a couple of weeks back. Photo a bit blurry. It was tasty. The starter had been some octopus on a pepper salad, which I have to say was tasty. Shaun was relaxing after finding out that there was no Lamb on the menu.

Was that a breakfast flight? I love Air Nostrum but I always struggle to understand their cut off times and how you sometimes randomly switch from a full four course meal with choice of hot mains to some ghastly sandwich or pot of ice cream! In a few months I have them on a flight that takes off at 10 and lands at 12 and I fear the worst!!!

Quick question. Friend onboard IB6403 from MAD to MEX and said after the crappy breakfast in premium economy, they're now walking around with food for sale? Is this something new? It's an 11 hour flight and I've never come across crews charging for extras.

LHR-MAD Business Class July 2023 There was no choice for breakfast (and therefore also no menu), and whilst everything was quite simple, it was perfectly adequate for a flight of this length. Breakfast trays and drinks were served from the trolley, with the offer of bread and croissants from a basket. Butter, olive oil, milk and sugar was offered at the appropriate times from a tray. The efficient crew announced after takeoff that the forward washroom was for Business Class use only, and enforced it on the one occasion it was needed. I found the continuation of the boarding music through takeoff and climb a little annoying, although appreciated the smart mood lighting on this one year old A320neo, and the free messaging for Business Class (and IB status) passengers. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...fc802e1c_k.jpg IB3180 MAD-LHR Business Class July 2023 Menus were offered after takeoff. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...9b7ca8ae_k.jpg Dinner trays and drinks (proactively topped up throughout the flight) were served from the trolley, with the offer of bread from a basket. Butter and olive oil was offered from a tray, with a chocolate also offered from a tray towards the end of the flight. My choice of roasted pork tenderloin was excellent - certainly one of the best short haul business class meals I've had in a long time. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...98566d64_k.jpg |
ACE - MAD Business Class Iberia Express
Breakfast It was ok I would prefer a hot omelette . The stuff in the brown bag was two bits of herb bread. They did come around with yoghurts and pastries but it was underwhelming. The orange juice before the meal in proper glasses was good. https://i.ibb.co/m6yNmfM/IMG-1699.jpg https://i.ibb.co/xS0xz4x/IMG-1702.jpg |

Dinner This was a pleasant surprise I don't eat that much fish or seafood but gave it a try. There were no choices anyway . The meal was really nice and an attentive friendly crew made the whole flight enjoyable. https://i.ibb.co/nm8gvZm/IMG-1799.jpg |

The dessert was incredibly delicious as well. Nice to see Do & Co being used as I had a fantastic experience on a flight from JFK to MAD as well. And had a great one too on BA a week prior. |
JFK - MAD 20:50 Service on 3rd October 2023
Starter (Option of Salmon Tartar or Aubergine veggie option) https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e94a7a5c9.jpeg Main (Choice of Pork Medallions, Prawn Noodles or a Vegetarian option which I can’t quite recall) https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ba1d74314.jpeg Dessert (Option of Opera Chocolate Cake, Creme Leche Ice Cream or Cheese) https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...3efe6e7db.jpeg Breakfast (Option of Omelette or Blueberry Pancakes) https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...f76f4c38d.jpeg All really tasty, the prawns were very impressive as far as plane food goes even if they don’t quite look like it. Dessert was phenomenal as well. The pancakes were a little on the dry side but still tasty. The omelette my companion chose however wasn’t very good according to him as he only had a few bites. |
