Iberia and LY, can't credit miles to BA?
I have a household account in BA, and I flew TLV-BCN-MIA with with my 2 kids.
TLV-BCN and return operated by LY with IB codeshare.
British Airways rep said they can only credit miles from the BCN-MIA operated by AA.
Is it true? Is there anything I can do to save those miles?
Thanx!

It is true as LY is not a BA partner.
However, open an IB+ account and credit the avios to IB. When the account become 3 months old, you can transfer avios between IB and BA accounts free of charge.

AFAIK, IB+ won't credit miles and tier points for IB-coded codeshare flights where the operating airline isn't a partner in IB+. Strange but true (according to the IB+ website).
In addition, it's a pain to move Avios from IB+ to a HHA...
