IBERIA PLUS Avios earning table with partner airlines

Hi folks!

I wish I can put an end to the frustration with the substandard information given by IB on its website.

Was able to compile the table below, not without considerable time spent on the phone with IB Plus agents. (some of them don't even know what I was asking for).
I think it's accurate as September 2014.
AA subclasses are: First: F,P Business: J,D,I,A Full Eco: Y,C Discount Eco: B,G,H,K,L,M,N,O,Q,S,V,W,R. Please note that I am not 100% sure on accrual % for discounted economy.

NOTE: For codeshares AVIOS are awarded as per OPERATING carrier, not marketing carrier. (confirmed this with IB Plus agent) Wrong info is given on the IB forum.

Cheers and I hope this will be useful.

Thanks.

any chance you could make the image somewhat bigger, though?

Which airline is AT? (second from last). And it seems like US is missing!

Hi there is something not right in your table. AA First surely would earn more than 100% since business earns 125%, no?

If you like I could make another bigger table in my webpage with a link to your facebook or website.

True, some mistakes in there.
I'll revise, complete and try to make it bigger.

For US, IB doesn't even mention them on their website... it seems the accrual rates and fare classes are something of a State secret for IB. Some of their phone operators don't even know what these are, or where to find them.

US would be the same of AA. IB obviously consider US as part of AA now.

I believe, US is under AA, and AA flights would earn 100% mileage in full fare and 80% for all other economy classes, just like BA since they're all in some tri-agreement transatlantic alliance now. IB flights earn 80% for all other economy fares on AAdvantage too.

I think only on BA do IB members earn 100% miles on all fare classes since they're owned by the same company.

Has anybody had success with earning Avios for Avianca award flight booked with LifeMiles?

Wonder if it's worth a try since IB Plus is such a lousy FF program :-)

Any experience with crediting US miles to IB?
Do short haul domestic flights with US earn minimum 500 miles with IB?

Information in IB's website is confusing. They talk about US as if it is part of AA at one page and as if it is a separate airline elsewhere ...

Not sure about AY flights, but I have noticed recently that all of my BA flights are taking up to a week, and some of my IB flights will credit straight away while others are taking up to a week too. I've even had a return leg of an IB flight credit before the outward journey.

So the first half of my AY trip credited and it came through as zero Avios as I now see R class isn't included in the chart. I'm going to wait until both legs have shown up to try and claim but does anyone have any experience in this sort of situation?

Okay, So I sent a request for Avios for the R class and didn't get very far.

I managed to get this non-sensical response:

En respuesta a su solicitud de abono de los avios correspondientes a sus vuelos con Finnair Madrid-Bangkok-Madrid le comunicamos que la tarifa en la que realizó su reserva con acumula avios en vuelos operados y emitidos con Finnair.

LOL, I assume one of those "cons" is supposed to be "no".
