against equipment change of course but booking a flight where it says A340-500 will
certainly increase the chances to get a refurbished a lot.

The 7th A330 was delivered yesterday
http://www.flightradar24.com/data/airplanes/EC-LZX
Philippine Airlines has leased 4 A340-300
http://www.philippineflightnetwork.c...ease-four.html
and they are still flying in Iberia livery (or at least in November they were)

Confused. Flying MAD - MIA in C in April.
Dummy iberia.com booking and SeatGuru both say its an A330-300. Which is what I understood operated this route.
But booked seats and seatmap suggest it must be an A340 (We have 2A, 2C, 3A, 3C and there are 7 rows - this only exists on the 340 I think)
Is it likely to be an A330-300 and our seats will therefore change at some point?

On the A330-300 it's 1-2-1 in a staggered arrangement so it's 1A, 2C, 3A etc. We can't be on that as there is no 2A (which we have reserved)........
Really hoping it is an A330-300 and we lose our seats

Think I've answered my own question.....according to Flightradar they seem to be rotating different aircraft on to this route.
And on Fridays it's an A340-600 at the moment. Dammit Wanted to try out the new seats.

Sorry to join the conversation late, but can someone answer my question? I am booked on a flight from Miami to Madrid in April. Originally at the time of booking the plane was listed as an A333 but now it shows as an A345. We chose seats 2A and 2L because they were single seats next to the window, but with the change we have been assigned seats 3A and 5L. I assume that with the 330 plane the even numbers are next to the windows, but it's the odd numbers on the 340. Is that correct?

Can anyone shed light on what aircraft actually flies a route that is listes "A342" and shows C class from row 1-4 in a 2-2-2 arrengement?
A sub-fleet of the A343 or they only sell the main cabin of C on the A343 on this flight and give a "cheap" upgrade to status costumers?
Thanks in advance!

It's a high-density sub-fleet of the 340-300 where there's only the main cabin of C class (4 rows) and the rest of the aircraft is configured as Y with slim seats with USB power but no IFE.
