Definitely way better than the current AA in Business. I would give the BA seats an edge over Iberia business though.

Well...LAX-MAD is direct flight...and business seats are fully flat instead of AA angled ones and AA don't operate a direct flight....
Therefore my choice direct business with IB or LAX-LHR-MAD on BA... LAX-MAD is long enough for dinner and a good sleep during the night, I use to avoid row1 as I fell and extrange sensation regarding recline...maybe legrest is not so up when fully recline in these seats... |

If Madrid is ur final destination and u are outbound from LAX, I would definitely pick Iberia even over BA via London (why go via LHR ?)
If getting the new cabin on the BA 747s its a pretty sweet experience It looks like it's Iberia on the outbound and BA on the return at present I've only flown Iberia within Europe so all the information here has been fantastic getting the perspective from the community here |

BA has a wonderful arrivals and departures experience with the lounge and all other amenities something AA doesn't excel at sadly

We're taking the LAX flight in November, and have 4 seats in row 6 in business.
Is that the first row in the second cabin in the 343? Any information is appreciated! |

I just spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to get exact information from Iberia on our forthcoming LAX-MAD flight, whether they have the new pod-style seats, or the 'long haul' business plus seats (also 180 degree recline) or something else...and got no definitive answer. Frustrating.
