New IB MAD-SFO and MAD-LAS routes?

I was just playing around with the oneworld interactive map

link - http://onw.innosked.com/?show=MAP

and I selected destinations from MAD with Iberia (connections and codeshare boxes UNchecked) and to my huge surprise SFO and LAS appeared as direct routes operated by Iberia!

Proof:

SFO direct service IB 6173 on April 13th?

LAS direct service IB 6121 and IB 6175 on May 23rd?

Strange... What do you think? Bug or major discovery?

If they really are going to expand, I would have thought the wise thing to do would be to secure the Europe-Latam market by adding more secondary S. American destinations or continue with the Europe-Africa plan...

EDIT: It's official!! From the Iberia website:

But wait, I thought One World was abandoning SFO?

Hi,

I cannot find those flights on other websites such as expedia and I do not think there has been an announcement either.

I would find it very odd to have 2 flights to LAS leaving from MAD within 35mins of each other.

That said, I would love an IB flight to LAS & SFO.

It does look like a Friday MAD-SFO and SFO-MAD flight (arriving MAD Saturday) from that. But as stated above, nothing to verify this at this time, and trying to book this has not produced usable results for me - all it shows are connections via LAX or ORD.

These are corporate charter flights.
Incentive travel for a Spanish company.
