Awards - Wanted & Cancelling - Clearing Thread - 9/15/08-2/28/09
As usual this thread is for people to post if they are cancelling or need awards held at the standard points (or FFNs) at "desirable" properties.

Please note that this does not serve as a trading place for Hyatt award nights for anything else. These belong in Coupon Connection. This thread is only a "clearing house" so that a FTer cancelling an award might have a chance to "pass it on" to another.

I may change the ending date of this if the FFNs usage are extended (as has been in the past) by a month for Elites (at least Diamonds).

GH New York - New Year's Eve
I will be releasing the standard award at the Grand Hyatt in NYC for the New Year's Eve (Dec 31) in the next few days. Going to a warmer place .

How does this work? How do we coordinate this cancelling the reservation by someone and making the reservation by others?

This thread is just provided as a resource - my suggestion is that PMs be used - to either coordinate times - or conference call with Hyatt - whatever is comfortable for both parties.

You likely know this, but just in case..... FFNs require 3 consecutive nights for mid week redemption. Thus, if the hotel becomes available, you can only book it with points.

No I didn't. Just joined Hyatt program.

Guess I might as well forget about this completely.

Hyatt Waikiki Jan 15 16 or 17 2009?
If any one can check if any of those dates are a FFN award possiblility I'd appreciate it

I don't have enough points to check and got blown off by Hyatt.

If these are already closed out then I need to rework some upcoming stays
