Hyatt Points
Just a quick one. Have booked a stay at a Hyatt and joined their Passport scheme before making my booking. I can't see any option on the account pages to select a miles earning preference - how do I change this?
TIA |
This query would receive a much better response on the Hyatt Gold Passport forum. So, without further ado, I am moving it there. A redirect marker will remain on the BA forum to allow its regulars to follow and contribute to this thread.

I just went out the the site to get you the instructions and I can't find it either! It's not where I thought it was. It looks like Hyatt's IT dept. may have struck again. I will look some more, but the site is slow today and I don't know if I'll have much luck. Your best option might be to call customer service. |
Cheers for the move to more appropriate forum.
At least I'm not going mad in not seeing it! Will give them a call on Monday unless I find a way before then! |
Isn't the decision to earn GP points or airline points made at check-in. That is you tell them at check-in which option?
|
You can. You can also select point or miles when you make the reservation.
But I recall being able to make the selection as a default from within my goldpassport account profile. I could be wrong, as I haven't done it in ages, and always take points, but I seem to recall making the selection at one time. |
Dear FlyerTalk Members:
It is my pleasure to clarify that a Gold Passport member may only select Gold Passport points for their earning preference within their online account. The Gold Passport program is a point system for earning Gold Passport credit at Hyatt properties and our affiliates. Hyatt does offer our guests the choice to earn Gold Passport points or frequent flyer miles/credit on a maximum of one partner account during every eligible stay, the other programs frequent travel number needs to be given at check-in. To learn more about the opportunity to earn with one of Hyatt Gold Passports many partners please visit www.goldpassport.com ( http://www.goldpassport.com/ ). I hope this information has assisted you in earning your award benefits with Hyatt. Sincerely, Karen Smith Gold Passport Concierge |
