Help find a thread/post

I have been searching and searching but cannot find it. About a year ago, there was a FTer who posted about staying at the GH in Tokyo, paying the prevailing rate and upgrade with 6K points. I believe he/she travelled with some friends and did two lots of this (or more). As a consequence, a larger suite was provided (I think) and there was talk of him/her returning later in the year and hopefully securing the Presidential suite as it was not available then.

Can someone please direct me to that post/thread?

Thank you.

Incy, I thought I was a pretty good searcher - but I've just had no success, using both FT and google search. I hope that someone else can find it for you.

Maybe this is what you are looking for though it is referring to the Park Hyatt, not the GH. Start with post #125

Thanks a lot. My impression is that it was the GH. In any case, the FTer talked about getting the presidential suite, calling it either something like the prezzie (which I searched but came up with nothing!). It was also stated that the prevailing rate was about US 415, just a notch above the hyatt.com rate and that enabled using the 6K upgrade. There was also discussion about the FTer returnng later in the year. I am puzzled why the posts are gone. Does anyone remember reading them? Maybe they were deleted?

I've been editing/deleting posts in the Review Threads in order to streamline them a bit so may have done so in this case (I don't recall though).
