Regency Chicago room recommendations?

I'll be at the Chicago Hyatt Regency for 5 nights soon for a conference. Any suggestions on particular room types to ask for? I've secured a "SUITE" upgrade coupon. What should I expect at check-in? Thanks!

Stay there a few times a year and always ask for a suite, have never had a bad room but ask for one overlooking the lake or on the corner. Great hotel in general. Only negative is the coffee in the cafe downstairs, they only have french press and I frown on coffee grains in my teeth...

I would agree the rooms are pretty decent. The bathrooms still seem a bit dated even after the renovations. The breakfast buffet seems fairly typical Hyatt fare. I would avoid the egg dishes here unless sunny said up as the eggs for the omelets come in a large plastic bag already pre mixed. The coffee I don't mind, but I love lattes. The smoke from the bar area at night is pretty overpowering. The parking can be confusing the first time since it is underground. I liked it much better than the O'hare property.
