Hyatt donates 5% of GC revenue

If you plan a stay at a Hyatt:

Hyatt will contribute 5% of all Gift Card revenue from purchases on certificates.hyatt.com from June 1, 2007 - July 31, 2007 to the Make A Wish® foundation... Hyatt Gift Cards can be applied toward any eligible purchases at participating Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and affiliates in the US, Canada, and Caribbean. Hyatt Gift Cards do not expire.

Hummm... if they offered us points for the purchase again I'm sure the Make a Wish foundation would make a bundle just on us FTers

Second that, though I'm still working through my last big purchase.

Ditto that! If only the cards were more widely usable--e.g. beyond USA/CAN/Caribe or at HP/SS. I'd be more than happy to use one $500 card to buy 2 Elite Certificates...keep the change!

I am having trouble using the gift cards because a lot of hotels take the first night deposit, so they only work on stays 2 nights or longer.

http://espn.go.com/outdoors/hunting/...n/1435751.html

In 1996, Make-A-Wish arranged for Eric, of White Bear Lake, Minn., to have his dream come true. Eric Ness asked to go to Alaska to hunt the giant Kodiak brown bear.

It appears from the article that they have since changed their policy, removing hunting as an option.
