Wow - so we have the 2nd half of this month to get both double stay credit and 3k bonus points. Thats great. Too bad I'm alreadying having award stays two out of the next 3 weekends. Otherwise I'd use this more.
The interesting thing will also be if this is combinable with other promotions. For example there is a G3 at the Hyatt Place in Plano, Tx starting soon. If they are combinable, which most promos have been in the past, then its 3K+1.5k+0.5k = 5k bonus points. Not so bad.

that would make it worth my while then to grab a few of these especially since the price is right at so many of these places

Only if the property bonuses post in a timely manner. 8 weeks since my initial stays and nothing still after two faxes and two calls to GP. (Even before the announcement, I have a final SS reservation for the end of the month.)

You can forget about the property bonuses posting. While the stays and the diamond amenity points post within a few days from the SS I use, I had to call for 5 G1 bonuses. I had used the web form and it worked for a few stays, but CS must be swamped with requests and I just gave up and called. The bonuses were posted immediately.
I do know that when the hotel put the G1 on the reservation, the STAY did not post properly and I had to call for it.
Given my choice, I'll take the stay posting fine & will deal with calling for the bonus.

Thanks, OP!
It's awfully tempting... there's a HP with a G4 bonus a mile from my parents' house. 9600 points plus four stay credits for under $200 all-in (I already have a Summerfield stay for work next week) over the next two weekends would put me at 14 stay credits for the year already thanks to the double-stay promo.

Wow. I was thinking about staying at the Hyatt Place for a night in Scottsdale, but the rate is so high that I might as well just stay at Gainey Ranch. But maybe now I will with this incentive...

Boy is this an incentive for me to have a few more stays at HP... looks like I'll be checking into Sterling tomorrow night...
