Actually, the reason why I asked is because every other hotel chain allows airline rates to be booked via the website. I wish Hyatt's technology would catch up!

As for points, I have earned points at both of the Hyatt properties where I received an airline employee (not airline-specific, but the generic airline industry) discount.

You may be asked to show your company ID or business card. This is especiallt true in SE Asia and India where there seems to much greater attention to the "rules".

Remember that your GP profile contains a lot of information about you.

The Aryaduta Hotel in Jakarta (which is Managed by Hyatt) is a reasonable hotel, although not a great location, which has rates from about $70 to $95

so far, the only hyatt that I know which proactively checks the ID of everyone who checks in with a corporate rate is Grand Hyatt Singapore... besides that hotel, I have yet been asked for my company ID or business card when using a corporate rate... but who knows... nowadays with the whole travel industry trying to get all the revenue it can, they could start tightening the rules...

It is for frequent travellers who shop at duty free.

Seriously, though, I think this is for employees of the DFS group.
