Any current experience with using a corporate code at the GH Erawan Bangkok? Do they check ID?

Also, any other good discount codes available currently? Thanks.

My experience has been that all properties outside the USA check ID.

GH Beijing checked ID couple of years ago. They insisted they need a fax from the company. The front desk manager even said if he did not receive the fax by xxx date, My credit card billing will jump to another number. I do not know if it is true but I did ask somebody in the company to send the fax afterwards.

I have never been asked for ID and I have used a corporate code to make reservations on the Hyatt website at several Hyatts in Asia (Taiwan, HK, China) and USA with no problems.

I have used a corporate code on the website without an ID check at the following hotels.

GH Taipei (MANY times)
Sha Tin (Hong Kong) HR
GH Shenzhen
DongGuan HR
Tokyo HR (I think)

Of course, YMMV

The code I use can be found elsewhere in this thread.

Hi guys, new to hyatt. I'm planning a BWB mattress run

HR Tsim Tsa Tsui, HR Shatin, GH Shenzhen, HR Dongguan.

Any problems getting FFN credit if I try using 90010? It has great rates for these 4 hotels.

If I'm denied corp rate, will they put me on BAR?

Thanks

Reading this thread, it looks like the few times people were asked for an ID they could not produce they were charged RACK rate and not BAR.

is there any way to check rack rate from hyatt website, I'd rather not risk it if the rate is much higher

Hi. My company is a subsidiary for IBM and until now I have been booking my Hyatt reservations using the IBM rate.

Next month, I plan to stay at the Hyatt Regency SFO, and I noticed that "company ID required" in the rate information section. Unfortunately, my ID doesn't really say IBM, but anyone in the IT industry knows that we are part of IBM. Will I have a problem checking-in? Would they reject and bill me the rack rate? I wonder if I would be better off checking-in using a self-checkin kiosk or not.

Everyone, especially those who have stayed at HR SFO before, please advise. Thank you.

I have used that code for this hotel more than once and have never been asked for any more ID than my driver's license.
