Proposed "New Reviews" Sticky Thread - PLEASE POST SUGGESTIONS

We've just unstuck the old review site thread in preparation for starting a new one that will incorporate more recent reviews.

For now, we'd like some feedback as to the way this should be structured (before we do a lot of work that the members here don't find useful).

My initial thought:

A new sticky thread - with a reference to Muerz's site since it is still very useful.

Add links to "new reviews" (as written by members - RTWSTARALLIANCE's posts come to mind) - in some sort of geographical order.

Members can post to the thread to add suggestions or links to reviews that they have found etc. However, these posts will probably be deleted after a period of time in order to keep the sticky clean and useful with discussions on the reviews and/or properties to occur in the originating thread.

Anyways, please post your suggestions in the next week or two so we can get started on this project.

Thanks!!

I was thinking about this too

How about a thread that lists all the hotels with links to the reviews, combined as necessary. Much like you did to the Grand Cypress thread. The reviews wouldn't be contained in that thread - just the link to it.

Excellent, thanks. I'd like to be able to quickly determine whether a property has a Regency Club, its hours and any weekend or holiday closures. Other items that reviewers may want to highlight are: parking charges at hotel and whether free street parking nearby, and locations of optimal rooms for views and quiet.
