What to do with 3,000 points!

Dear FT,

After a few bonus nights, I have just got 3,000 points left.

Any suggestions?

Keep your account active and sometimes little things pop up like the 1,500 dining certificate. It will come in useful one day and you can combine with anyone for an award.

I don't think they expire and they always can come in handy if you accumulate more. That said if you have a overwhelming desire to burn them up you can always covert them to miles into your favorite airline program of choice ^
Heres to many more Gold Passport points in your future
They are some of my most valuable program currencies

If you are going to a nice property with a good Regency Club, it is a great deal for the club floor upgrade which covers your breakfast, evening drinks and appetizers. HKG, PH MEL, LHR Churchill, etc.

Conversion gets a from me! IMO a Hyatt point is worth as much as a mile if not more. 5000 Hyatt --> 2000 miles? No way!

If anything, offer Hyatt points on tCC. My Diners' Club points are already committed, but as soon as I earn more, I would gladly deposit 3K miles into the OP's acct. for his/her transferring 3K Hyatt into my Hyatt account!
