Problem with reservation via Hyatt website

Hi all, I made a reservation through the Hyatt website for one of their properties in Malaysia. Special internet rates, I wanted to book a nice sea view room.

I have never received any confirmation e-mail, no confirmation number, no information, nothing.

I sent an e-mail to their customer services, got no reply to that either. It's been several days now.

No money was taken from my credit card account.

I am surprised. Maybe it is that the reservation did not come through or is there a chance that they might have had glitches on their website?

I need the room. What is the best thing you recommend that I do?

Thanks a lot for your advice, this is fairly urgent.

1-When making the booking online - did you get a confirmation number ?
2-Go on Gold passport web site- key in your GP number and all your current reservation should appear - if it does you can click on it and get all the details.
3-Gold Passport desk takes a few days to answer but always do
4-You can also e-mail the hotel directly and check if you have a reservation/room type request.

Ducati biker, thanks for your reply and valuable advice.

I phoned Hyatt and they did not have the reservation in their system. I re-booked it with the reservations agent. She took all my information and the room was confirmed by email immediately at the same rate they had on the website for the same type of room.

I am all set.
