Chicago Hyatt Regency - complained and received 3,000 pts

I stayed at the Chicago Hyatt Regency in July of this year and complained because they charged me for using the bar in the room. They forgot to post the credit and I called again and customer service ended up giving me 3,000 points for the inconvenience.

I've found the Hyatt Regency Chicago to be very good at customer service issues.

Last December I stayed there and was on the top floor west tower SE corner room -RC level. However, the mechanicals above me on the roof were so loud and disruptive that the assist manager and engineer both agreed it was an 'issue'. I was was immediately offered my choice of that night free or 12,000 bonus points! I took the points since I needed the stay for Diamond renewal. This year, I hope will be better.
