Combining GP offer codes

Have an upcoming stay at Hyatt ABQ (hope it's ok). Booked AAA rate and entered the "BREAKF" code in online reservation for free breakfast. Also hotel has a G3 1500 bonus points code in effect right now, and I was wondering if I could get that added to my reservation by calling customer service. Am I being too greedy by wanting to get breakfast and bonus points, or will they honor it?

These codes are definitely combinable; however, not online. Ask at check-in to add the G3 code and if they neglect to ask again at check-out. As a last resort, if didn't post, then ask GP CS to do it.

BTW, AAA rates are combinable with HYCARD ($50 AMEX gift card if paid with AMEX) - weekends at the ABQ Hyatt results in amazingly low rates. Also, AAA rates already imply free breakfast, I believe, even without the additional BREAKF code.

How did you get them to combine? When I booked and got the AAA rate, it kicked out the HYCARD. I called to have it added and they said that you CAN'T add it, you have to do it online. when I went back to try to do that, there are no AAA rates coming up. and the hyatt.com rate is more than $50 more than the AAA rate without the HYCARD that I currently have booked. So I guess I have to go without the HYCARD....

Well now a DIFFERENT CS just told me that I can add the HYCARD at check-in. we will see I guess...

I just stayed at the Hyatt Boston last weekend and booked under the BREAKF code, then called SP CS about 24 hours before check-in and they added both the HYCARD and G2 bonuses to the account without any problems. At check-in, got both the meal voucher and gift card with no problems. Bonus point posted the next day.

I just specified the HYCARD in promotion code field and chose the AAA rate - this was a few weeks ago though. There have been verification that the AAA rates is HYCARD eligible. Of all the codes around, I would worry least about the "G" codes - they're easily added by CS if they fail to post.

Conference rate?

What if I booked a conference rate? Can I still add codes such as HYCARD,
G2 and 3KWKND to my reservation and get the points?

Many conference rates are not "eligible" rates so may not work to get the bonuses - call Reservations and see if they can be added.

I just called the other day to add 3KWKND, HGP001 and G2. The phone agent said he could only add one and put the other two in the comments.

I called and GP CS said conference rates are not eligible for 3KWKND. She did add G2 to my reservation though.
