Hyatt Regency Dallas (downtown):

Hotel provides valet parking only, $18/day with no in/out privileges. But there's a private self-park lot just down the street charging $8, and municipal lots within a few blocks in the $3-$5 range.

Free convenient self parking on side of hotel near convention area.

Hyatt Regency, Downtown Columbus, OH - $12/ day, with unlimited in/out.

Here's the thing. The "onsite" parking garage entrance is two blocks away, so it was not easy to find, or close to the hotel. To walk between the hotel and the garage, take the skywalk across the street, go down a flight of stairs, and follow the enclosed walkway all the way around behind the Crown Plaza. I did not enjoy that walk after arriving at 10PM.

I found a more convenient alternative at the Convention Center Garage, next door to the Hyatt. The cost was $14/day, and parking on the lower level left me only a few feet from the elevator. Three flights up, and then it was a quick walk through the Convention Center into the Hyatt. As long as you do not need unlimited in/out, then it is worth the extra $2 to be that much closer to the Hyatt.

Hyatt Grand Champions has free self park, charge for valet
Hyatt Suites Palm Springs is $5/self, $12/valet (was free parking until this year, but then they had an added '$7 resort fee' which was strange since this property IS NOT a resort- but it supposedly covered self park, newspaper, local phone call, pool towels, etc) No more 'resort fee' but charge for self park. Free parking on the street but a safer alternative is the casino lot 2 blocks away, free, well-lit and patroled!

Hyatt Islandia (SD) charges for self park and valet, but limited parking on street is available.

Hyatt San Jose, Hyatt Westlake Plaza have free self-parking.

Hyatt Regency Chicago (on Wacker Drive):

$39.00 for valet parking, in/out privileges, as of 7/2005

Casitas (sic?)
 

Same property but the Casitas down near the restaurant is free parking as well..

Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf (SF)
 

As of June 2005: valet parking w/ in and out priviliges is $36/day (ouch!)

However, we booked a package called 'Wharf Experience' for $199/night which included free parking and free hot breakfast for 2 ...that was a good find!

July 1 self park now $10/night (up from $5), Valet $14 up from $12

Valet is $12/day at the Grand Hyatt Tampa.

Valet is probably most inconvenient if you're in one of the casitas since its really quite far from the main entrance of the hotel (where the valet is located).

Park Hyatt Chicago
 

The Park Hyatt Chicago raised the parking fee to an even $40 from $39.

Hyatt in Kansas City
 

I believe it was around $13 USD.
