Prebook FFN
 

Is it possible to prebook a FFN award (before earning it, but of course earning it, befor ethe FFN stay) without the book a normal award and then switch ?

Diamond members can, others cannot.....

German hotline refused to do so far Diamonds yesterday.

Does anyone know a Hyatt policy where FFNs can be booked before the away is posted for Diamond? I haven't seen it anywhere on the web site.

I'm actually glad they don't allow this as it could result in people holding rooms that they might not ever use. The result would be less selection and availability for those trying to book with awards that have already been earned.

On a side note I find the Hyatt Diamond line very friendly and helpful, much more so that other elite programs I am in.

I booked a few nights yesterday w/o the FFN credits in my account.I have a few stays booked in the system,so that might have something to do with it.

Well, diamonds can book regular award reservations with points they haven't earned yet. I think that is equivalent to booking FFNs that haven't been earned yet, since one can switch a standard point award to a FFN at a later date.
