Instead of asking for a status match, has anyone had experience with Gold Passport being lenient on stay credit within the calendar year. For example, I had four separate week long stays at Hyatts last year. Not many, that's true, but the dollar spend for each was substantial for room costs and other incidentals. The fifth stay was delayed by a couple of weeks and pushed into the first week in January, thus forfeiting my Platinum status. Would they grant me the Plat status for this coming year if I show my "fifth" stay from earlier this week? Just wondering. :/

HGP Platinum is acheived with either 5 stays or 15 nights. If you stayed 4 one-week stays (24-28 nights), you should have easily requalified for Platinum without having to ask for a special exception.
