Which Hyatt in Hangzhou?

I will be in Shanghai next month for a week and just realized how quickly I can get to Hangzhou via bullet train and based on google it looks beautiful. I am considering staying there now for a night or two but not sure which property to go for as they have everything form $50 Urcove to Park Hyatts. Hoping to get some input from folks here, particularly looking for a property that will be helpful to a non-mandarin speaker and ideally close to public transport.

Thanks in advance!

Either the Grand or the Park. Grand’s lake views are to die for (if the room is right) and the Club’s outdoor patio is just icing on the cake, whilst the Park is an all-round solid luxury option with a great restaurant, though most of the upgradable suites are occupied by a postnatal care facility.

Thank you! Perhaps I'll do the urcove badge in Shanghai :)

Grand Hyatt is right on the west lake. There's no better location though I don't love the hardware of the hotel. It's an old regency from 20 yrs ago w basic renovation to make it a GH.

I won't stay at PH. They don't have standard suites available for upgrades as they sold everything to a maternity hospital. I have a problem w this...yet another property in China where it is near impossible to use a tSU or get upgraded on arrival. It's not right that Hyatt allows properties to do this but they do. I have asked heads in the region

The UrCove in Hangzhou is just a block north up from the Grand Hyatt so may be more convenient to grab it there than in Shanghai where there's a bit more separation
