There is 3 Hyatt Places and 1 Hyatt House but they never go under $100 per night. Making it quite difficult to Mattress Run or Ghost Stay. Definitely wish I had cheap properties and a URCove nearby to top off if needed.

I definitely know that Globalist and China have been very problematic for Hyatt due to similar issues. One I read about was basically selling Guest of Honor bookings which was a driving factor to change it for Hyatt. From what I read just 1 or 2 Globalists booked 50+ rooms as Guest of Honor during the World Cup which was a large issue and very problematic.

Yes, I know someone who booked like 50 nights a night at world cup in Qatar. I wrote about it here before. He made so much he was wling to quarantine for nearly a month on way back t ok China. He did it w Marriott as he has already be banned by Hyatt

That’s just crazy to me. I think both that and the Globalists checking in then reselling the room for a profit could get you banned from Hyatt. If you don’t really care about being a Globalist then there’s no downside but if you’re u enjoy the benefits and travel with Hyatt then it’s definitely a major risk.
