Does it not post at all?

Ah, if I recall, all of my buy 2 nights (or, 3 nights) and get one free, the final night has never posted.

As to MGM, several years ago I had a stay where my nights and points at the Park MGM never posted. This was before the concierges I think, and whether it was because I couldn't write, they couldn't read, or combination thereof, I was unable to explain to them the Park MGM's name was changed from the Monte Carlo, and NOT the MGM Grand, and was a completely distinct and different property. In the end, it was only about 20K points, and while enough for me to complain, wasn't enough to file in small claims.

Had a few crediting issues over the years but maybe 1 a year at most and then usually on things like brand new brands (Lindner for example) but normally stays and points and bonuses all credit correctly. I'd say probably 95 plus percent of the time it's correct for me.

Not counting mgm nights but that was an MGM issue that once I fixed, crediting worked fine.

I don't think you get credit if you buy 3 get one free for the free night. One should but by program terms you don't.

I've just realized I'm at 96 hours without getting credit so have just filed a missing stay report

Correct, you've never gotten credit for the free night on a buy 2 get 3 etc rate. Any credit for the free night is an error.

Several destination properties were a pain to post last year but more traditional ones always posted without issues. Perhaps recently integrated brands are more of a challenge?

Absolutely, I think so. Dreams, Lindner, me and all, Das Tyrol. I'm sure when they add Mr & Mrs Smith, it won't work, either.

What's frustrating me is that, e.g., at one property, I've stayed like 5 times and auto-credit fails each and every time. I've talked to the front desk, I've submitted missing-points claims, I've spoken to WoH's call center. Repeatedly.

Mod note

Some continued discussion about "stay 2 nights get the 3rd free" only counting as 2 EQNs has been moved to: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hyat...ight-free.html

(as this is per the T&Cs and not a glitch)

Sometimes there is confusion about what is and isn't eligible spend. This usually revolves around whether they give you points for alcohol.

This is my experience as well...as a long time Diam/Glob, closing in on lifetime Globalist. Very rare for stay not to credit correctly- I had one this year, that was combo of 3 paid nights on a special Corp rate + 2 add'l points nights that I added. Did have to email them for a correction but otherwise no issues

With all due respect, your experience does not match mine, and I suspect that of most members, otherwise we'd have a long thread about these issues. In my ~10 years as a member, knock on wood, I've never had a stay not post at all, the incorrect number of tier nights posted, or a promo/bonus not or incorrectly honored....

Our experience is similar - never had night credit post incorrectly. The only "glitch" is that SLH stays seem to take about 6 days to post. Someone else mentioned that this is a manual process - might be the same for the properties that the OP is missing credit for.

Funny for the first time today I had some missing qualifying spend and thus points (or at least noticed it) for a stay at the Andean Prague last weekend. I mentioned it to MHC and it was corrected in less than 1 hour!

my points always post the following day, latest 12pm Pacific. only the former MGM hotels took longer, I think one a week every Sunday night.

ffgap Nov 19, 2023 1:19 am

Alua hotel didn't credit after a week. I did submit a missing-points request via the app on Nov 10. As nothing has happened after a week, I rang up the call center.

The call center finds the claim and says I should be more patient and wait another week. Alua is a new luxury hotel (LOL) and the processes "over there" take longer.

This is, once again, WoH being sub-par. Competitors process such requests much faster.

I wouldn't say that... I've had some extreme troubles over at Marriott getting points credits to post properly (or at all). The grass isn't greener.

Stay 4, Pay 3 - Hyatt is indeed only giving 3 elite qualifying nights.

I am not aware of any issues this year with posting. I second what others say: most points post the day after, the rest on the second day after check-out.

No need to wait for any printouts etc. Just ask them to mail you the folio.

And no need to "mentally track" flights and hotel stays at a daily basis. Go through it at the end of the month and you'll be fine.

Also: instead of contacting Hyatt customer service, you can get in touch with the hotel and let them check. Most likely a better and easier experience.
