Smile Hyatt/AMR Resorts allow Small Dogs!

Good news for pet owners and Service dogs travels (such as myself), The AMR Group is one of the few all inclusive chains, to allow dogs in all of their property portfolio. I've have stayed with my service dog, at the Dreams Punta Cana property, both the dog & I were well treated for the full 10 night stay. I hope Hyatt, keeps this policy past December 2023!

Thanks!
As far as I have understood the T&C, the fee is per stay and not per night - is that correct? (I`ve seen extortionate fees at some places, including Hyatts...)

Nonsense as in service dogs for disabled people? Or fake "therapy" dogs for abusers of the system? Or dogs in general?

As long as the policies are communicated clearly, this is something I have no problem letting the market decide. Some places will make money by being pet friendly, others will succeed by being pet free. Analogous to kid-friendly vs adults-only joints. My angst comes when dogs (particularly poorly behaved ones) are unexpectedly in places I wouldn't expect them or (as is too often the case) one is left by negligent owners in a room all day to make noise that is audible next door and in the halls.
