Booking is now possible in Cash on Hyatt website -- no points option so far. It should come later

Whats with the busted rates for 3000/6000/9000 club/std/prem suite upgrades here? The cash portion is set to the cash rate for the room youre getting rather than the standard room so youd just be throwing points away.

Award nights for not-yet-open hotels are usually glitchy.

I am seeing scattered dates available on hyatt.com for January. Does anyone know what the new opening date is or have info as to what the delay is?

I have a points reservation for mid February and tried to make one for the end of May and the site now shows the hotel is unavailable. Ill make a back up reservation elsewhere with Hilton.

Hyatt Regency London Albert Embankment

Doesnt seem like theres a dedicated thread yet. Availabilities starting next Thursday (Jan 12), a very swift rebrand. Everything seems untouched. Curious on Globalist upgrades and RC situations, well find out next week.

Property is cat. 5 (too high IMO) and currently not redeemable by points, but cat. 1-7 award does show availabilities.

I saw this on the app last night but couldn't load any rates.

It looks good, but how will it compare to The Churchill?

HR Blackfriars used to be CP London - The City. It has undergone a full renovation (and a change in GM plus a few higher management positions) before rebranding, but there seem to be some reservation mayhems and theres no availability on Hyatt channels as of now. Its probably delayed.

The property in question for this thread was the CP Albert Embankment. Opened late 2018 and the rebranding is seamless.

Not on par, different target customers for the Churchill, this ones more of a leisure/budget full service option in a semi-central location. Its positioned higher than HR Stratford but lower than Blackfriars (which is lower than Churchill). One year later, suddenly three more Regencies in London. Woosh!

Its been on Hyatts website/app for a week or two. The rates only popped up today if Im right.
