Either way, if you're worried about the terms, just stay 20 nights in 90 days from the date of enrollment and you'll be fine. There aren't any challenges more challenging than that.
That’s what I thought but I have been corrected and told by Hyatt agents that the first day does not count in the promotion. it starts after your first stay. you have 90 days to complete your 20 nights and of course you register with them over the phone to kickstart the promotion. there are no written terms anywhere per agents.

There is one that is open to everyone. Granted you have to get an agent who knows about it (HUCA). Ask to register for the 20 nights in 90 days globalist challenge. Mine needed to get a supervisor to help me register. So there is a challenge for “everyone” as I am neither corporate nor existing globalist.

Same here, with my Concierge stating in an email "...Thank you for your interest in the Quick Qualify promotion. I did review this offer and unfortunately at this time you do not qualify to be enrolled in this offer.".

I don't want to be "that guy" but am considering taking a second try at this. For those Globalists who were granted the challenge, did it have a particular name? I know there was a business related promo, but any extra info I could pass along with my next request would be appreciated.

Curious about this too.
current long time globalist but at this time 60 nights will be highly unlikely. May be able to do corporate challenge if that's an option. Otherwise will probably have wife to do challenge since she only has status from credit card.

Just emailed WOH on Saturday asking if they’re doing a status match challenge, and I noted I’m a Marriott Titanium member.

I got an email from one Guest Sales Specialist, and he says there’s no status matches at this time other than status matches with MGM programs or UVC.

Bummer 🫤

Not sure if the decision has something to do with my new WOH credit card and me being a first time member this year. I’m debating maybe calling WOH and asking again, not sure if that would seem odd asking twice.

Perhaps they got confused by the use of the term “match”? The challenges this thread talks about is not a match.

Call then and ask for the Quick Qualify challenge. Don’t use the term status match as they don’t have any.

After speaking with guest relations, the Quick Qualifier Promotion is targeted and not open to everyone. If you were invited to enroll, "you will be able to earn tier status at an expedited rate by completing a required number of qualifying nights within 90 days of your first stay after you have been registered". The first stay does not count towards your nights. Example- If one is going for Globalist status, after the first stay the promotion begins and one has 90 days to stay 20 nights to qualify.
THIS IS A TARGETED PROMOTION ONLY. I hope that helps!

So I just enrolled and have several stays coming up in the couple of months. I am thinking about activating the promo with a local cat 1 stay, waiting a day, then booking a 20-night stay at the local hotel to complete the challenge before our upcoming vacations. Any reason this won’t work? Seems that “purchasing” globalist with 20 nights @ 3.5K each is a reasonable deal, right?

Depends how much glob status is worth to you--and with this kind of qualifier you won't get any suite upgrade awards so there is that to consider.
Many figure a point is worth at least two cents, so if you are spending 70k points to get your status that's about $1400. Worth it?

Not really. How many vacations are you taking where free breakfast and maybe free parking will add up to the ~$1,400 in points you'd have spent?

MHC confirmed the first night does count (about a week ago). Don't know about targeted but, if so, I guess I was since she signed me up. My first stay for this is in a few weeks. I may end up doing 60 nights anyway to earn the milestone bonuses, since right now with past and upcoming stays I'll be at 51. But signed up just in case I don't hit 60.
