The nearest NYC Subway stop would be the Aqueduct Station on the Rockaways A Train; to JFK would be one stop to the south to Howard Beach and then the AirTrain. Strangely, the website lists a free shuttle to the LIRR Jamaica Station (with the adjacent AirTrain and NYC Subway stations) but no shuttle to Howard Beach or Federal Circle (the latter of which is in the free AirTrain zone and where all of the other JFK airports with shuttles have stops).

Ok, but I'm still a big fan of the Aloft Long Island City-Manhattan View, as I always get a high floor with a great view of Manhattan. And the E line express to Queens Station from JFK, doesn't really take much longer than the convoluted public transportation options to Resort World, and you're right there across the East River from Manhattan. Plus the rates are great, I've paid as little as $80 a night.

I understand that the hotel isn't open yet but....... For those familiar with the location, would it be a reasonable place to stay the night before trip out of JFK and park? I would anticipate using Uber to get to/from the airport most likely.

Hyatt Regency JFK Airport at Resorts World New York is an eight-story, four-star hotel, featuring 400 residential-inspired guestrooms and premium suites with energizing design and insightful in-room technology. The hotel also features new restaurants, a fitness center, state-of-the-art conference and meeting spaces, retail options, and additional gaming areas.
