Any word on World of Hyatt 2021 Category Changes?
Is March and I have not seen any word on Hyatt 2021 Cat changes. Do you think there will be one? Maybe they are chalking up to another lost year... and did not want to put effort into it as things are still in flux around the world.

4 Properties Going Up (2 of them are Mar Monte Hotel and PH Aviara) 12 Going Down - All Destination Hotels properties Other than that they said they are postponing changes this year. July they are doing the Peak/Off Peak pricing for Award Stays. |

https://newsroom.hyatt.com/news-releases?item=124003 They said "with only a few exceptions, World of Hyatt is suspending its 2021 hotel category award chart changes that typically occur each March." Four properties went up and 12 properties dropped a category. |
I must have missed it... thanks

Selfishly, I had wanted the category changes to take effect - many I like were actually dropping a category like the Grand Hyatt Chengdu that was dropping to a category 1. 3500 points off peak.
I am actually surprised that some properties dropping don't push to drop. |
I believe March 22 is last day to book standard rates for all nights? Or have they pushed that back to July?

I don’t see an official announcement, but I assume there was some kind of release:

This means that each hotel will remain in its current category and be redeemable for the same number of points in 2021 as it was in 2020 (except as noted below). As always, we'll refund members the point difference for any existing reservations at hotels requiring fewer points as of October 29, 2020. Current exceptions include: Hotels Moving Down & Requiring Fewer Points (effective October 29, 2020) ● Stonebridge Inn, A Destination Hotel from category 5 to 4 ● Wailea Grand Champions Villas, A Destination Residence from category 6 to 5 ● Wailea Ekolu Village, A Destination Residence from category 6 to 5 ● Wailea Ekahi Village, A Destination Residence from category 6 to 5 ● Lichenhearth, A Destination Residence from category 6 to 5 ● Parker New York from category 6 to 5 ● Grand Hyatt Vail from category 7 to 6 ● Mauna Lani Point, A Destination Residence from category 7 to 6 ● Wailea Elua Village, A Destination Residence from category 8 to 7 ● Kaanapali Alii, A Destination Residence from category 8 to 7 ● Vail Residences at Cascade Village, A Destination Residence from category 8 to 7 ● The Lodge at Spruce Peak, A Destination Hotel from category 8 to 7 Hotels Moving Up & Requiring More Points (effective mid March 2021) ● Hyatt Regency John Wayne Airport from category 2 to 3 ● Hyatt House Nashville/Downtown-SoBro from category 4 to 5 ● Mar Monte Hotel part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt from category 4 to 5 ● Park Hyatt Aviara from category 5 to 6” According to the other poster they are adding 6 more properties going up in Category and 1 more going down. I think it’s bad on Hyatt’s part to make these changes last minute, especially given the poor Q2 Promo. I think if they if they started the Peak/Off Peak now and marked everything Off Peak until June that’d be a great off set, especially with travel still on the low end. |

The link you posted only shows the original planned changes -
