Called this morning and the agent found the promo for me quickly. She said the clock starts on your first stay after being registered.

I have some Hyatt stays booked for a cross country drive and then will do a cheap mattress run reservation at a cheap property to complete it. I’m pretty sure the answer is yes but is the Extended Stay rate a qualifying rate?

What are the T&Cs of the promo?

"Clock" means there must be some time limit or a time period??

Never heard of it not counting.

You're going to mattress-run 15+ nights of a 20-night challenge?

90 days I believe. I checked with my concierge, the 90 days started the day I checked out of my first stay and the first stay nights did count towards the promo.

I”ll be coming and going. I have a couple of Houston trips during that time so I’ll just stay checked in.

Once you start the promo is there some kind of counter available so you know what your status is? I have my first Hyatt stay Monday night so I’d like to be able to keep track.

I've never seen a tracker for Hyatt challenges. It's up to you to keep track.

For Globalists who were able to get their concierges to successfully apply this challenge, was it open to everyone or only certain corporate employees?

I was offered the challenge by the call center and to my knowledge Hyatt has no idea who my employer is.

No reason to rush into a mattress run unless Vegas is convenient. The chase business card is already running a double credit promo and I predict there will be several more opportunities in the fall. Hyatt shows no signs of wanting to thin the herd.

Aren't these contradictory?
  • Enjoy Explorist status for 90 days. Note: the 90-day trial period begins when you check out for the first time after registering. Night(s) from the first stay will count in the offer.
  • Stay 10 qualifying nights at any Hyatt hotel or resort within 90 days after registering to maintain
Is it 90 days after the first checkout or within 90 days of registering?
I could register now and not check out until December.
