It will cost me about $400, but close to where I live, there's no mattress runs that will come even close to being less expensive than that, and for an upcoming stay in Maui, we'll get over $1,500 worth of benefits (waived resort fees + free breakfast for 2 rooms). Is there something I'm missing here? It seems almost like a no brainer which is why I'm nervous I'm not calculating something correctly...8.6.1

Being conservative ($0.015/Hyatt point), it would be closer to $100 ($400 in fees minus $300 value in points).
And if you time it right, you can get up to about 7 weeks’ float to actually pay. Worth a bit.

What's the lag time from when you completed a recent stay for the Double elite Nights for stays by 2/28/21, to when the double stays appear? My regular elite nights came through for a 8 night stay but not the extra 8 from the promo. Would appreciate your guys insight as to when I should expect the promo nights to post. Thanks!

My Hyatt mattress run ended on the 28th; regular nights posted the next day (1st of March) and the double nights posted Thursday morning the 4th.

Apparently, Globalists still get a physical membership card. Has anybody that's completed this mattress run received one yet?

I haven't received a physical card for years... but maybe that's just me, since my address changes pretty regularly.

Out of interest, why would you want a physical card? It seems like it's less convenient vs. using the app (although I've also never actually had to use the app to show anyone my status) and seems like it's just a waste of plastic/paper/logistics and shipping resources.

Airline frequent flyer cards I can understand a bit more, since some lounges still insist on seeing a physical card (which is ridiculous, but one of those situations where it's much easier just to fall in line vs. try to argue).

People with names that may seem "foreign" may prefer to just hand over the hotel card to get across the point of their name+account info/status when showing up at check-in. Handing over a phone or tablet with the info may not be as much to some people's liking and it may even not be as efficient as handing over the card.

So you can frame it and put it on your fridge to feel a sense of accomplishment .

When I'm eating at a Hyatt I'm not staying at, I'd much rather hand them a card then have staff touching my phone.

Plus, I just like getting stuff that I'm entitled to.
