Properties Temporarily Closing Due to COVID-19
 

I thought I would start a thread to post what Hyatt hotels and resorts are temporarily closing due to the ongoing pandemic.

Ventana Big Sur and Carmel Valley Ranch will close 3/18 for at least two weeks.

HC Downtown Portland appears to be closer as well. I’ve checked several dates starting 3/28 all the way until 4/30 for one or two night stays and it says not available. I highly doubt they’re at 100% capacity considering COVID-19 so maybe the franchise just wasn’t prepared and decided to close down until things calm down?

All Hyatt in France...

Incline Village not accepting reservations thru May 1. Hotel is open for existing res, but no services/casino. A very slow seasonal time, an easy financial decision.

Just received an email that Hyatt Regency Orlando is closing until May 3rd.

The following properties in Spain are closed until further notice unless noted:

• Hyatt Centric Madrid Gran Via
• Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower
• Hyatt Regency Hesperia Madrid
• Park Hyatt Mallorca [reopening March 29th... for now]

Is this stated somewhere? i checked on their website and there is no information.

We were emailed by the sales manager as we had clients booked there this weekend and next week.

If you try to do a booking any time the next two weeks, it won't return availability.

PH Chicago is closing within the next days, just got the following information from my PA:

(...) we are notifying you that the hotel will temporarily suspend its operations as of this Wednesday, March 18, 2020, due to public health concerns and out of concern for the safety of our colleagues. (...)

My reservation is for early April, so it seems to be at least for two weeks.

Miraval Tucson and Miraval Austin both closing from March 22nd through April 30th.

Looks like the following LA-area properties are closed:

• Hyatt Centric Long Beach
• Hyatt Regency Long Beach
• Hyatt Regency Orange County

The local paper here in Long Beach said both properties are closed through May 11, 2020. [OUCH]

Andaz Costa Rica closing until April 30. Had a reservation and received an email saying it is canceled.

Per an email notifying me that my reservation is cancelled, Andaz West Hollywood is closed until at least May 10, 2020.

Hyatt Place Moab is closed through end of April - Hyatt reached out and all reservations have been cancelled.
