Mods, if this post is not appropriate, feel free to delete.

Wondering if anyone has found any smoking Hyatt deals recently in light of this coronavirus outbreak?

Not a “Smoking Hyatt Deal”, but a good deal.

$90 HR OC (Cat 3) on a Weekend Night so got 1,500 WOH Points back plus Double Points along with $50 Glob Breakfast.

I think there may be some amazing deals after the 22nd on Points Bookings and Points + Cash due to COVID-19.

Room rates are coming down. In my entirely unscientific review of a half dozen places I'll be visiting soon... Marriott rates are coming down much faster and further.

I did see some rates in San Francisco that probably haven't been seen in years...

All reservations I have for April have gone up since my reservation was made about 4-5 months ago, since then, nothing has come down so far.

I would Imagine that City/Convention properties that have lost/will lose large meetings or Conventions would be the places to look at however these are largely booked mid-week, excluding Religious conventions, etc.

You might have me confused with somebody else.

Nonetheless I suspect the difference might simply be in the pricing software used at Hyatt vs. Marriott, rather than consumers behaving according to promos.

That said... my $100 one night stays are definitely going to Marriott - 2,000 Marriott points + elite amenity points is worth far more than 500 Hyatt points...

I've been checking for inexpensive weekend rates in NJ, and so far they have not budged.

I'm looking at the rates for Tokyo and most of the properties have maintained pricing except for HR Tokyo, which went up by ¥1000.
