Double Points Promo - 2/15 to 5/15 (after 2nd stay)

Just logged into my account and saw the promo. Don't see another thread about it. Register by 3/15. Starts on 2nd stay

https://world.hyatt.com/content/gp/e...us_global_p316

Credit card holders get an additional 1500 per stay starting on second stay if it includes a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night

Thanks for this, my concierge didn't inform me. Guess I will have to book a cheap stay before my trip to SFO so I can get the double points.

This seems like an odd choice.

Were no promo announced, would you have made the stay?

It it is that huge, find a cheap HP/HH to squeeze in there beforehand.

A few years ago, a Private Line agent (the predecessor to the MHC program) was fired for giving her clients a day's advance notice. I'm not surprised your concierge didn't say anything given the embargo was lifted just a few hours ago.

The FAQs are very clear that free night awards count as a weekend night stay and qualify for the 1500 points, assuming you have the WoH CC.

That was extremely foolish. This, kids, is why you ALWAYS read the small print!!!

I have a huge stay next week. I am booking a Cat 1 award stay on 2/14 (checkout on 2/15), which, besides giving me a bit of V-day cred, completely qualifies my huge stay for the 2x + 1500 points promo.
MarkOK and LowValueCustomer like this.

Hmm...

I have a question about this Promo hopefully I could get some help. (I am a WOH CC Holder)

So I have Stay# 1 at a HH

2/25-2/27

Stay #2 at a GH

2/27-2/29

Stay #3 at a HP

2/29-3/1

Stay #4 at a HR

3/22-3/28

Stay #5 at an Andaz

3/28-4/3

So I’m wondering since all the stays are intertwined (even though they’re at different Hyatt locations, not just checking out and checking back in to the same Hyatt) if they’d be counted as different stays.

I'm going to have to do a 1 night stay before my 8 nights in Paris on 2/29. I hate doing mattress run.

Thanks, I just remember a past promo where if you checked out of a Hyatt and into a Hyatt the same day it wouldn’t count.

Also, didn’t realize I was staying at 5 different brands until I laid it out that way

I think it has always been checking out of a hotel and back into same hotel without a day in between is considered 1 stay. Checking into different hotels has always been considered multiple stays (and how many of us used to get Diamond )

Completely glazed over the needs to include a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday for the 1,500 points
