Sales is their job and they can help find what you need with suggestions, setting aside one of the sections/rooms for private breakfast area, or a conference room if you wanted somewhere to gather after the rehearsal dinner etc. Would you like to be co-located, or require shuttle to and from venue if nearby etc.

Some properties will view rooms and event costs as a single entity, so that you might get better room rates if a group brunch or rehearsal dinner is held in the hotel or conversely, you might get good F&B and function room rental rates if you guarantee a certain number of room nights for the group (at less good rates).
