Redemption chart: https://world.hyatt.com/content/gp/e...n-updates.html

To view the award calendar for any Hyatt property, go to the Hyatt global map and search for, click on, or zoom in on the property or region of interest. In the alternative, start the booking process; once you've narrowed the selection to an individual property, you should see a link to the points calendar directly beneath the link to the hotel website. Note that calendars do not indicate (un)availability on any given date.
  • Hyatt appears to have updated its systems to display calendar links for nearly all properties. (Immediately after rollout, coverage was notably incomplete.) If for some reason the property you're interested in does not have a points calendar link, use a URL of the form https://www.hyatt.com/explore-hotels/rate-calendar?spiritCode=XYZZY, where XYZZY is the hotel's five-letter code. (Codes are shown in the URL for the Hyatt property listing; for example, the Tokyo Andaz is "tyoaz.") Once in the calendar, you can navigate to view additional months. h/t to Neric for flagging this shortcut.
Not all hotels and resorts offer redemption of suite awards; please contact the Hyatt Global Care Center or visit a hotel or resort's property page on hyatt.com for details on whether suite award accommodations are available at that hotel or resort. So here’s an issue I’m seeing -

My understanding based on Hyatt’s releases was that it couldn’t be set so specific hotels get Peak, Standard or Off Peak, but instead it would be based on the entire area/region.

Is this just in the process of being updated still or is this how it’ll stay?

Thoughts?

With today's announcement that Marriott is going dynamic, I have this gut feeling that it's only a matter of time before Hyatt follows suit. I remember when Hyatt stated that it has to implement peak pricing to keep up with the competition.

My reservations have been auto-adjusted already.

None of my stays were auto adjusted I found 3 stays that I checked and found to have at least 1 night Off Peak in them but didn’t adjust.

Example -

2 Nights at Manchester Grand Hyatt from Hyatt.com

Night 1 - 12,000 Points
Night 2 - 15,000 Points

My Reservation still showed 30k points deducted. I cancelled and rebooked.

Though when trying to book a few stays that have Off Peak Nights and Standard nights mixed I’ve gotten this error multiple times.

Then there’s this issue -

Since they’re both San Diego properties you’d think (based on Hyatt’s press releases on the Peak/Off Peak) that they’d either both be Peak, Off Peak or Standard. What’s even crazier is one is labeled as Off Peak, while the other is Peak. At worst it should be Peak and Standard or Off Peak and Standard, but two polar opposites in the same area is a bit wonky.

Seeing similar issues. It's likely worth avoiding cancelling / rebooking anything unless absolutely necessary until they get all the kinks ironed out.

I rebooked because one of the days was a Saturday at a very popular property so I don’t know if it’s a glitch or what. Because when I kept trying to rebook as a multi night stay which also included standard nights the system wouldn’t book it.

Yeah, it has very clearly not been the case that a single city has standardized peak/off-peak designations. I too have seen peak at one property and off-peak at another for the same night nearby. As for whether they can dynamically change over time or if its predetermined and then set for good...I guess we will have to wait to see if folks notice any changes over time.

I've also noticed (like others) that the off-peak dates really have no correlation to cash rates. In some cases, very surprisingly so.

It's possible to see what any hotel points are for any given month - and then go back and forth month by month.

https://www.hyatt.com/explore-hotels...ate=2022-11-04 Is Next November for the Andaz Tokyo

https://www.hyatt.com/explore-hotels...ate=2022-11-04 for Park Hyatt New York, get the code from the URL for the property

https://www.hyatt.com/explore-hotels...ate=2022-10-04 Changes it to October for Park Hyatt New York

https://www.hyatt.com/explore-hotels...ate=2022-09-04 For Hyatt Regency Atlanta, September, it's High for the weekend Dragon Con takes place (good luck getting a points rez here on a normal year.)

spiritCode = hotel's code.
Dates are selecting a range. Pick anything to see the dates around that.

I keep trying but can’t seem to get it to work. Spirit code is dfwxa but I switch it and it just keeps loading the above properties.

Trying to see if Dallas has any off peak dates as I can’t find any in the actual city of Dallas only in the surrounding areas all 2022.

I'm seeing multiple hotels with ~75% standard pricing, ~25% peak pricing and 0% off peak pricing? Is this expected pricing behavior?

Perhaps this is an indication that the property is under-categorized as a Cat 4? I recognize the Andaz is a Cat 5 (which has some peak and off-peak dates) so making it a Cat 5 would not be appropriate.

Learned from my Concierge that On/Off Peak doesn't start until 3/1/22

So we're missing just over 3 months of data to see the entire picture.
