New UI for the WoH mobile app mid-2019

Not a fan of the new color scheme. Too anemic. Very bland.

Don’t know if it was like this before, but if you run a search in iOS and change from a list of properties to the map of properties, you can’t navigate back to the search screen unless you first go back to the list of properties. Annoying.

EDIT: My pixel still has the old version and there is an arrow to go back to the property booking screen even in map view.

While the UI is just "fine", I took part of a feedback team that gave Hyatt some feedback on making the app better. Was nice that Hyatt gave me a nice GC for my time. I do like that they incorporated some of my feedback.

As for the promo, nice thing to drive usage on the app. Only question I have is what are "participating" properties. I can't seem to find a list anywhere.

Home page is not well laid out to be visually pleasing. I don't like seeing icons off centered and not aligned. The bottom symbols are also cut off.

One disappointment, so far only affecting one hotel/reservation, but I can see it being a problem.

The fitness center at Andaz Xintiandi Shanghai is closed. This is apparent on the website and used to be apparent in the app. Now, if this important-to-me information is available in the app, I can't find it. (Admittedly, I'm dumb.)

what is the issue with having to be logged in?
I logged in once and am logged in ever since so it makes no difference.

I'm a fan of the new app.

Provides enough information, booking interface works well and doesn't try to be too clever with navigation like the Bonvoy app.

Apprehension (perhaps unwarranted) based on experience with Hilton app where the simple act of doing a search without making a booking will result in multiple emails in the following days.

ok - never experienced that with Hyatt. I search daily and don't make reservations.
so I guess no worries there.

Has anyone had issues with the 500 points posting? I called the Glob line and had to have one stay manually posted (only one). Agent said several ppl have called about it.

Happened to me, once out of multiple eligible stays. A quick text via FB messenger got it fixed within an hour
