Looks like one property isn't joining WoH for now: Alila Purnama

I wouldn't be surprised if all these properties are all Cat 7

Doubt so, I think most of the Asian one (China, Indonesia, etc) would be hard pressed to reach C5.

Ventana Big Sur would be a steal even at C7 (or even C8)...

(It makes me extremely unhappy that Yangshuo start at 15, and I have a stay checking out at 13...)

Well since I'm considering Bali next year, this could serve me.

I can't see the "cheap" Alila in Jakarta either.

The nice hotels will be 6 or 7. But there are a handful in the 2-4 range...

Yeah, I underestimated the categories of these properties. OMAAT just updated his post with the categories.

Well, given Anji and Wuzhen are C5 (Park Hyatt SH is also C5), I'm not gonna complain....

Not seeing Alila properties bookable through the Hyatt site or app yet. Anyone try booking a property being added today (6/25) via phone?

I see them on the Hyatt site right now, but it looks like award booking is not available yet.

They are fully loaded and ready to go now.

Bali seems to be great value. Jakarta non participating.

Being able to book Alila Villas Uluwatu on points (30k) is phenomenal. If you have the chance I can tell you one thing: DO IT! It will blow pretty much any hotel out of the skies.

Bali Hotels:
Seminyak: 20,000
Seminyak Studios: 5,000 (wow!)
Ubud: 12,000
Manggis: 8,000
Uluwatu: 30,000

Seminyak Studios is a bit bare bones but at 5k not too shabby to rack up some nights. Uluwatu is great value as a night there never runs below $700 + 20% tax/svc.

Ubud and Seminyak can be cheap under $200 so it depends it you value the points more/less. The rates on Hyatt website are inflated vs OTA's so maybe better to redeem instead of booking paid rates!?

It seems like Seminyak Studios is in a different location than the hotel (5 minutes walk?), and there's a loud bar next to it. Can anyone confirm?

there is a map of the alila Seminyak and studios on their website. Seems that they changed to only one type of room just today. Yesterday, there were regular and deluxe. Now just regular. Yesterday, the deluxe ones were in the building with the pool closer to the main resort.

nevertheless, booked at an awesome 5k points and be able to use the facilities at the 20k points side of the property. Amazing.

Awesome to have Alila finally plug into Hyatt and WoH, with the first block of ten properties uploaded and ready to go. 16 of the brand's 19 properties will eventually participate; the ones that aren't are Alila Jakarta, Alila Purnama and Alila Yangshuo. I hope they'll come around, as Yangshuo is particularly tempting for me [and has received rave reviews].

More Hyatts!

That's odd as Alila was merged into Hyatt, not just a partner. How can Hyatt managed hotels opt out of WoH program?
