We need some data points from Globs who have already hit 55 (but not yet 60) nights this year. Did they receive the two additional TSUs and a tier 1-7 free night cert or not? When I looked at my account recently, I wasn't convinced either way, nor was it clear to me whether a renewing Glob needs 55 or 60 nights for My Hyatt Concierge. OTOH, I did notice that the offer of a tier 1-7 free night cert for 10 brands seems have been withdrawn, although the tier 1-5 free night cert for 5 brands is apparently still alive. At 8 brands, I was starting to contemplate getting two more from Hyatt's recent acquisitions. (No all inclusive resorts for me, thank you.) |

I haven't seen anything like this in my account. Did you already do the 55 nights? Also, it seems ambiguous whether it's 2 additional TSUs or a total of 2 TSUs. |
No, unless they've further detached the second set of TSUs from the Cat 1-7, which seems unlikely. The first two are awarded after 50 nights, so it doesn't make sense that those two TSUs would be listed as a benefit of re-qualifying at 55 nights.

It's not ambiguous because at 40 there's another 2 TSU milestone. Have you tried logging into your account from a full (desktop) browser? The tracker does not show up on the app, and, I'm assume, not on the mobile site. You may be able to force your mobile browser to display the desktop site -- that may work too. Anyway, with the new tracker, it's clear that if you can qualify for globalist at 55 nights, you also get the 60-night milestone rewards at 55 nights. That's similar to how it worked last year -- 55-night globalists got TSUs, the cat 1-7 night, and the concierge, even though those were listed as benefits of staying 60 nights (not benefits of the status, and, in fact, when I had comped status renewed, I did not get those benefits) |
The first two TSUs are at 50 nights, not 40. Also, the app has been updated again and now shows that current Globalists re-qualify at 55.

The part about the re-qual misses the point. My app has shown re-qual at 55 since the beginning of the year. The question was about whether the 2 additional TSUs, cat 1-7 night, and concierge (which are milestone rewards and not benefits of any particular status level) would also be granted at 55 nights. A strict reading of the terms says "no", however, it now seems that the answer is "yes" |
All those things now say 55 nights in the app.

I agree there was some ambiguity, but it seems clear now that all benefits accrue at 55 nights for re-qualifying Globalists. Hyatt was likely to have some angry customers, otherwise. |

You must have missed a recent app update or two. The redesigned app (mid-March?) initially didn't show Globalists re-qualifying at 55. That's now been fixed, as of an update within the last few days.
