How long does it take to transfer points to airlines?

I transfered some points to ANA yesterday. Hyatt deducted it from my balance right away but it hasn't shown up on my ANA account. When should I begin to worry, does anyone have a clue?

Thanks in advance for any info you have!

I haven't tried this before but both ANA and the Hyatt website state 6-8 weeks. Perhaps someone with experience can chime in here.

Thanks for finding and posting that. Obviously, I didn't see those or I wouldn't have done it -- the award I was topping up for with Hyatt points (normally, transfering to airline miles is a bad use of points) is for an award in April. There's virtually no chance the award will still be available in 6-8 weeks. What lossage, given that credit cards like Amex manage to do it virtually instantaneously.

The conversion rate of Hyatt points to miles is so poor that I don't think you'll find too many data points.

ANA in my experience from SPG is indeed slow... You were rather misguided to think it would be instantaneous - it's not the same process at all.

I don't think any NH transfers are instant.

If memory serves, imagine the same with Hyatt, my last MR transfer to NH was 3 or 4 days?
