Never got an introductory email -- gift basket is likely a step above just sending an email. Not a big deal though.

Good Morning,

I am happy to see some of you have received a surprise and delight package from your Hyatt Concierge Associate. Those packages can be sent out at any time during the year and even during some stays. I hope you all are having happy holidays and thank you for being such loyal guests.

Best Regards,
Hyatt Guest Care Specialist

Well well well... I guess an official Hyatt person is back on here. It's been years....

Never gotten anything from my agent but honestly, she's taken good care of me for years so I don't really need a cheap fruit basket.

Slightly off-topic, but I recently qualified for Globalist for the very first time. Received the basic email to that effect but to mention of Concierge (let alone name or contact information). Any insights as to how that introduction is made? Thanks!

They _should_ reach out to you personally in the next few weeks. It won't be one of Hyatt's mass emails.

Did you qualify with 60 nights? That’s the only way to get a concierge. If yes, wait 2-3 weeks for them to reach out.

Just reached Globalist a little more than a week ago, got the standard global email immediately and today (7-9 days laters) just received a message from the Hyatt concierge. Anyone know if the European concierge a decent one? Seems to be only one or maybe several but using the same email as its not the name of the person in the adress but rather a standard hyatt concierge europe email .

Well I didn't get a gift basket after all. The package which arrived on December 17 was from a supplier. I only spent 111 nights with Hyatt in 2018. Perhaps that's not enough?

Don't feel bad: I've had at least three 200-night years with Hyatt over the past decade and have never received so much as a Christmas card.

Back in the day (10 or 15 years ago?) Hyatt used to send Diamonds a gift at the end of every year. I had some really nice gifts from them. But a long time ago, and nothing since for me!

And, let's hope the rumors of WOH hiring some top flight former SPG folks are true. In my view, from top to bottom, the SPG rewards program with Amex was the best that ever was.

I remember those gifts too, I think it was at least 20 years ago though. What I recall were 2 bath towels with "Hyatt Gold Passport" embossed. Superb quality, loved them.

Had to be at least 15 years ago, unless mine got lost in the mail. I believe my first year as Diamond was 2004.
